About the role

YP SPACE MNC (YPS) is looking for an experienced Finance Officer for 15 hours per week on a Permanent Part time basis (Potential to increase for the right fit).

This role will be based at our Kempsey office on the Mid north coast. However, flexibility to attend our Port Macquarie office may be required as needed.

What you'll be doing

· Manage the financial administration system (MYOB) to ensure timely and accurate payment processing and financial reporting.

· Oversee end-of-month processes, including reconciliations, BAS returns, depreciation, and employee liabilities.

· Prepare funding acquittals and reports as required by funders.

· Maintain business registers, including asset, motor vehicle, staff compliance, password, and accounts registers.

· Work with the board-appointed external auditor, ensuring audit requirements are met.

· Administer payment of Payroll and Accounts to ensure that all employees are paid on time and accurately, adhering to taxation, superannuation, and employment contracts.

· Maintain records for salary packaging for PBI status to ATO and ensuring FBT Compliance.

· Manage industrial relations and legislative frameworks.

· Supervision and support of the Administration Assistant.





· Manage Business insurances and Workers compensation insurance.

· NDIS Invoicing via Shiftcare

Essential criteria

· Current paid Working with children check and National Police check

· Solid Computer and programs skills

· Knowledge of NFP and/or Community services sector
