Day One Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a senior lawyer into its established Wills & Estates practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a team that is recognised for handling sophisticated succession, trust and estate matters while maintaining a collaborative and down-to-earth culture. Opportunities of this calibre do not arise often.

The successful candidate will work closely with a highly respected Partner who is recognised as an Accredited Specialist in Succession Law and is regularly sought out by accountants, financial advisers, family offices and private clients for advice on complex estate and succession matters.

This position will suit an experienced Wills & Estates lawyer seeking exposure to premium work and high-value clients. You will work across a broad range of matters, including:

- Estate litigation and family provision applications
- Contested wills and probate disputes
- Trust and succession disputes
- Advanced estate planning and succession strategies
- Testamentary trusts




- Asset protection and intergenerational wealth planning
- Estate administration and deceased estate management
- Capacity, guardianship and enduring power of attorney matters

While candidates with a solid estate litigation focus are encouraged to apply, the practice offers exposure across the full spectrum of succession law.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- 5+ years' post-admission experience in Wills & Estates
- Strong drafting and technical skills
- The confidence to run matters and maintain client relationships
- A commercial and solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A genuine desire to develop your expertise and build a long-term career in succession law

Accredited Specialist status is highly regarded but not essential.
