Profectus is seeking an experienced Integration and Interoperability Assurance Specialist to join our team delivering capability integration work within an Australian Government agency. You will establish the current capability position and assess how well communications and information systems connect across several related capabilities. The work combines architecture analysis, stakeholder engagement, gap and risk assessment, and roadmap planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Document the current capability baseline and supporting system architecture
- Develop a high level capability roadmap, including options for future uplift
- Develop and review operational scenarios, vignettes and use cases
- Work with stakeholders to identify and refine capability needs
- Assess current capability against strategic objectives and identify gaps
- Analyse system architectures, interfaces and interoperability
- Identify dependencies, constraints and risks across related projects
- Prepare high level schedules and assess delivery and operating model options
- Draft capability papers, strategies and monthly reports
- Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement plans

Required Experience

- Robust knowledge of Defence Communications and Information Systems and the Defence stakeholder environment
- Experience in Defence Programs, Force Design or Concept Development roles




- Knowledge of ADF air and missile defence systems, including planning and execution
- Experience with Tactical Data Link networks
- Project or program management experience in Defence
- Experience working within the Defence Capability System
- Understanding of Joint and land domain staff processes at operational and tactical headquarters level
- Ability to explain technical CIS and air defence information clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience with Joint command and control or integrated air and missile defence capabilities
- Experience developing capability baselines, architectures or interoperability assessments
- Experience with Joint data networks or deployed ICT environments
- Experience writing in line with the Defence Writing Manual
- Background in air defence, air battle management or Joint interface control

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Current AGSVA NV2 Security Clearance required
- Current AGSVA PV clearance ideal
