The Opportunity

A growing South Australian civil contractor has secured a solid pipeline of new work and is entering an exciting period of growth.

With capabilities spanning civil infrastructure, structural concrete and large-scale landscaping, the business has established a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across South Australia.

They are now looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to take ownership of projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion.

You will play a key role in delivering successful project outcomes while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team. With a strong pipeline ahead, there is genuine opportunity to grow your career as the business continues to expand.

Importantly, this is a Monday–Friday role with no weekend work, within a team environment that values collaboration, development and getting the job done well.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will have genuine ownership of your projects, driving delivery across programme, commercial, quality and safety outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading civil projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion
- Developing and managing project programmes, budgets and delivery plans
- Coordinating engineers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders
- Managing commercial performance, forecasting, variations and project reporting
- Monitoring programme, quality,



safety and overall project performance
- Identifying risks and driving practical solutions before they become issues
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and delivery partners
- Providing leadership, support and direction to engineering and site teams
- Driving a culture of accountability, collaboration and high-quality project delivery

You enjoy being close to the project, making decisions, solving problems and bringing people together to deliver a outstanding outcome.

You will ideally have:

- Proven Project Management experience within the civil construction industry
- Strong commercial, programming and project delivery capability
- Confidence leading project teams, subcontractors and delivery partners
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project challenges
- Civil Engineering qualifications, which will be highly regarded
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing business
