Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Financial Statements and Taxation Lodgements within Business, Individual, Company, Trust and SMSF entities
- Accounts, general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Coordination of key compliance requirements and management of production schedules
- BAS and Tax compliance
- Financial reporting for clients / Management Accounting and Reporting
- Annual budgets development and reporting
- Communicating with the Management and Executive teams for quality client outcomes




- Be part of uncovering process improvements that drive efficiency in accounting/tax workflows
- Proactive communication with clients
- Meeting Deadlines for Compliance Lodgements and Service Delivery
- Managing a client portfolio
- Practice Management System entries for all work
- Meeting targets for Service delivery aligned to Time and Budget allowances
- Support to Bookkeeper/s, Admin to achieve service delivery and reporting to clients and team
- Support to team for delivery of financial reporting for business consulting and strategic planning
- A commitment to total quality improvement
- Proactively communicating with clients to achieve timely outcomes and foster relationships

Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting including Public or Commercial Practice
- Financial Statement, Tax and BAS experience
- Thorough knowledge in Australian Tax preparation and Taxation law
- Degree qualified accountant
- Compliance and process driven
- Effective communication skills and solution-based thinking
- Solid experience in financial accounts reconciliation
- Broad knowledge within accounting software, excel and cloud-based systems (Xero and XPM desirable)
- Registered Tax Agent (desirable)
