We make delicious plant based slices, cakes and protein balls that are shipped across Australia. We're a busy, hardworking team that values efficiency, respect and working well together.

HOURS & PAY:

$35 per hour

7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

5 shifts per week available THE ROLE:

You'll be hands on in the production of our desserts, including:

- Producing brownies, cakes, slices and other desserts using large batch recipes
- Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients to ensure every batch is consistent
- Mixing, lifting and pouring large batches, including 10L buckets of mixture onto large trays and slabs
- Operating commercial equipment including mixers, large kettles, depositor machines and Robot Coupe food processors
- Slicing dessert slabs and rolling protein balls
- Assembling, decorating and finishing desserts with care and consistency
- Packing, labelling and boxing finished products
- Setting up, cleaning and packing down equipment and production areas, including dishwashing and end of day cleaning
- Regular lifting of 14kg to 25kg ingredient boxes, buckets and dessert slabs

DETAILS:

Your day starts at 7am, with a 15 minute morning break and a half an hour lunch break. We wrap up at approximately 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, so your afternoons and weekends are all yours.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- At least 2 years' professional experience working as a cook, chef, baker, pastry cook or food production team member. This could be in a café, restaurant, bakery, commercial kitchen, catering business or food manufacturing/processing facility.
- Confident with large batch recipes.



You can weigh and measure accurately, follow recipe sheets carefully and understand the importance of consistency.
- Comfortable with physical production work. This is a hands on role involving lifting, pouring, mixing and being on your feet throughout the day.
- Good food safety and hygiene practices. You understand safe food handling, follow hygiene procedures and keep your work area clean throughout production.
- Positive attitude and teamwork. You're friendly, hardworking, communicate well with others and take initiative to help out where needed.
- Reliable. You turn up ready to work, follow through on your responsibilities and take pride in doing a positive job.
