Our client, a well-established WA-owned supplier to the construction and building industry, is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team on a temp to permanent basis.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will be working within a busy outdoor supply yard supporting daily production and dispatch operations. This is a hands-on role suited to reliable and safety-focused individuals who enjoy physical work and operating plant equipment.

Key duties include:

- Strapping, wrapping, and preparing bricks onto pallets for transport
- Operating the 5 Tonne forklifts to move, load, and unload product
- Loading and unloading trucks in line with delivery schedules
- Manual handling and general labouring duties
- General housekeeping & maintenance duties around the yard

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous forklift operating experience in a yard, warehouse,



or production environment
- A current LF Forklift Licence
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment
- Good awareness of safety procedures and manual handling requirements

Details

- Outdoor-based role in a fast-paced workplace
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required
- Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Pay rate: $39.03 per hour penalties after 7.6 hours worked
