About the role

This role entails a hands-on approach to formwork carpentry on civil construction projects. The successful applicant must be reliable, self-motivated and able to problem-solve. The right candidate must be willing to travel, as jobs are in both metropolitan and regional areas.

Key responsibilities

- Forming up stairs, radius formwork and Class 1 finishing work
- Reading and interpreting plans on site
- Working in a team setting
- Adhering to all site safety requirements
- Meeting deadlines and working under pressure

About you

- Two years' experience working as a formwork carpenter on civil projects
- Current White Card and trade-qualified or relevant industry experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Own tools
- Ability to read plans
- Carpentry skills for forming up stairs, radius formwork and Class 1 finishing work
- Punctual and able to work in a team environment
- Ability to provide references and show examples of previous work
- Strong commitment to safety and work health and safety (WHS)
