About the role

Bar Ricci Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team at our Main Beach location. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst delivering exceptional service in a dynamic hospitality environment. As Front of House Staff, you will be the face of Bar Ricci, creating memorable experiences for our guests through warm hospitality, attentive service, and genuine engagement.

Your role is pivotal in setting the tone for our establishment and ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression of our venue.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and welcoming guests with a warm, professional demeanour upon arrival

- Managing the hosting station, including seating guests, managing wait times, and maintaining reservation systems

- Providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests

- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen and bar teams

- Serving drinks and food with knowledge of our menu and bar offerings

- Clearing tables promptly and maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the venue

- Processing payments and handling cash and card transactions with accuracy

- Assisting with table setup and breakdown as required

- Collaborating effectively with kitchen, bar, and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations

- Following health and safety protocols and maintaining compliance with venue policies

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in hospitality, bar, or restaurant service is highly desirable

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests genuinely
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail

- Strong organisational and time management skills





- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work casual shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

- Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene standards
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Current certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or willingness to obtain it
