Work collaboratively within the emergency healthcare setting

Maintains a professional relationship and works comfortably within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care

About the Company The Hospital’s Emergency Department is a 9-bed unit, open 24/7 in the centre of Hobart City. It provides 24/7 medical, nursing and clerical services. The team prioritise a friendly and welcoming workplace, with a caring and professional approach to patient centred care.

About You

Bachelor of Nursing

Current Registration with AHPRA

Working with Vulnerable People Tasmania check

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards





Good clinical decision-making and problem solving skills

Works well independently and within a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Proactive, motivated and customer focused

Proficient computer skills

Desirable Criteria

Post Graduate Certificate or working towards Emergency Nursing (Desirable)

Demonstrated experience working in emergency departments

Advanced Life Support Certification

Triage Certification or Evidence of (if at the level for triage).
