ABOUT THE ROLE

Integrated Property Solutions (IPS) is looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on individual to join our growing team.

This is a varied position combining gardening, gutter cleaning and general handyman duties, working across residential, commercial, government and aged care properties throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas.

We're looking for a practical all-rounder who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.

While experience in gardening, gutter cleaning or property maintenance is preferred, we don't expect applicants to be experts in everything. The right attitude, reliability and willingness to develop new skills are equally important.

This is more than just a gardening and maintenance position. For the right person, there are opportunities to receive training, gain additional qualifications and progress into other specialist areas of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Gardening, lawn mowing, edging, pruning and general garden maintenance.
- Gutter cleaning, debris removal and associated roof and property maintenance.
- General handyman tasks, minor repairs and property upkeep.
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment, power tools and other equipment.
- Working across a variety of commercial, residential, government and aged care sites.
- Completing tasks safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when dealing with clients.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

We're looking for someone who has:

- Experience in gardening, gutter cleaning, handyman work or general property maintenance.




- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- A strong work ethic, reliability and good time management.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence using gardening equipment, hand tools and power tools.
- A willingness to undertake physical outdoor work in varying conditions.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- A Construction White Card and National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain them.
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and any additional clearances required for specific client sites.

Desirable but not essential

- Working at Heights certification.
- Previous gutter cleaning or roof maintenance experience.
- General handyman or minor repair experience.
- Experience working in commercial or facility maintenance environments.

Training can be provided to the right applicant.

HOURS OF WORK

This position will commence on a casual basis, with regular ongoing work and the potential for permanent part-time employment.

IPS operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While most gardening and maintenance activities are scheduled during normal working hours, some after-hours, weekend and on-call work may be required.
