Associate Dentist | Buderim Family Dental

Dentist Opportunity on the beautiful Sunshine Coast

Location: Buderim, Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Position: Associate Dentist

Hours: Flexible, with a preference for full-time

Start date: Negotiable

Buderim Family Dental is looking for an Associate Dentist to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

We're interested in hearing from both new graduates beginning their careers and experienced dentists looking for a practice where they can do good work, build strong patient relationships and feel supported by the people around them.

We understand that dentists are at different stages of their careers. For a new graduate, having the right guidance and structure can make all the difference. For an experienced clinician, having the trust and autonomy to practise confidently, with a supportive team behind them, is equally important.

Our aim is to provide a positive, professional working environment where dentists can develop their skills, enjoy their work and build a long-term future.

What You Can Expect

Support that suits your experience

New graduates can access mentoring and guidance as they transition into practice and develop their clinical confidence. Experienced dentists can expect a team-oriented working environment that respects their skills, clinical judgement and professional independence.

A flexible approach to working hours

Our preference is for a full-time associate, but we're happy to discuss a part-time start for the right person, with the opportunity to build towards full-time hours by mid-2027. We'll work with you to explore an arrangement that suits both you and the practice.

An established practice,

with room to develop

You'll have a mix of existing patients and opportunities to grow your patient base. The role offers broad general dentistry, with scope to pursue additional clinical interests in line with your experience and professional goals.

A team-oriented working environment

We value good communication, mutual respect and a shared commitment to patient care. We want our dentists to feel part of the team, with the support to do their best work and the autonomy to practise professionally.

The Sunshine Coast lifestyle

Buderim offers the opportunity to combine a rewarding dental career with the lifestyle the Sunshine Coast is known for. With its coastal surroundings, outdoor activities and established local community, it's an appealing place to live and work.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in a dentist who values patient care, communicates well and wants to contribute positively to a team.

You'll need to hold, or be eligible to obtain, registration with the Dental Board of Australia and be committed to practising safely, ethically and professionally.

Whether you're a new graduate looking for a supported start or an experienced dentist ready for a change, we'd welcome a conversation.

Let's talk

If you're looking for a practice where you can feel supported, build relationships and develop your career at a pace that suits your circumstances, we'd like to hear from you.

Please email your CV and a brief introduction to [email protected]

We're happy to have an initial conversation about the role, your goals and whether Buderim Family Dental could be the right fit for you.
