Graphic Designer (Casual, Indigenous Identified)

Indigenous Energy Australia | Remote, Australia-wide | Casual, minimum 8 hours per week

Indigenous Energy Australia (IEA) works with First Nations communities, government and industry to ensure infrastructure projects across Australia are shaped by the people whose Country they're built on.

We're looking for a Graphic Designer to help our work look as strong as it is. This is a casual, fully remote role of at least 8 hours per week, with some weeks needing more.

What you'll do

- Create graphics, diagrams, and visuals on short notice when a document needs them
- Roll out the IEA brand across a full suite of templates, including reports, proposals, presentations, letterhead, and website
- Build and maintain easy-to-use templates in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for the whole team
- Edit and format proposals and other documents before they go to clients and community

What we're looking for

- Experience applying a brand consistently across multiple formats
- Robust skills building templates in Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint especially).
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to turn work around quickly
- Comfort working remotely with a small, busy team and juggling ad hoc requests

Why IEA

- Meaningful work supporting First Nations voices in Australia's energy transition
- Flexible, remote hours that can fit around study, freelance work or other commitments

About this identified role

This role is open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people only. The successful candidate will help shape how First Nations communities, culture and Country are represented in IEA's work, so cultural knowledge and lived experience are essential.
