Ngolak Group is looking for practical, reliable handyman/women and general maintenance workers to join our growing Sydney team.

We deliver maintenance and repair works across playgrounds, public spaces and commercial assets throughout the Sydney CBD and surrounding areas.

A large part of the role will involve playground softfall repairs and installation, so we are particularly interested in people with experience in concreting, rendering, flooring, landscaping, construction, carpentry or general home maintenance.

Previous softfall experience is not essential. We can provide training to the right people, particularly those who already have positive practical skills, a strong work ethic and are comfortable working with tools.

Typical Work May Include

- Preparing and repairing wet-pour rubber softfall areas
- Ground and substrate preparation
- Concrete and minor formwork works
- Cutting, drilling, fixing and installation
- Basic carpentry and timber repairs
- Playground equipment repairs and maintenance
- General handyman and property maintenance
- Removal and replacement of damaged materials

- Setting up barriers and maintaining safe public work areas
- Site clean-up and waste removal

We Are Looking For People Who

- Have practical construction, concreting or handyperson experience
- Are comfortable using power and hand tools
- Can work independently and as part of a crew
- Take pride in the quality of their work
- Are reliable and turn up when they say they will
- Understand the importance of PPE and working safely
- Hold a White Card
- Have valid Australian work rights

Experience with concrete, wet-pour rubber, flooring, landscaping, carpentry or general building maintenance would be highly regarded, but training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and practical ability. Most of our current work is across the Sydney CBD and inner Sydney, with ongoing work available for the right people. Immediate start available.

To apply, send through a short summary of your experience, the type of work you have done previously, your availability and your contact details.
