Trade Assistants, Labourers & Mechanical All-Rounders | $35–$42/hr

JPEX Recruitment is currently seeking reliable, hands-on candidates for a range of full-time opportunities across Wangaratta and the surrounding region.

We're recruiting for positions including Stone Benchtop Installers, Caravan Technicians, Mechanics and General Labourers, with opportunities to suit people from a variety of trade, mechanical, assembly, manufacturing and practical work backgrounds.

You don't necessarily need to have worked in these exact roles before. If you've got a solid work history, a practical mindset and the skills to get stuck into a job, we'd love to hear from you.

What the work looks like:

Stone Benchtop Installer -

Hands-on installation work requiring accuracy, attention to detail, practical problem-solving and confidence using tools. Experience in construction, cabinetry, carpentry or similar trades would be valuable.

Caravan Technicians & Mechanics -

Work suited to mechanically minded people with experience in repairs, assembly, maintenance, fitting or fault-finding. Related trade experience and a willingness to learn are valued.

Trades Assistants & General Labourers -

Practical roles involving tools, materials, assembly, assisting tradespeople and general hands-on work. Ideal for candidates who enjoy being active, working with their hands and getting things done.

You'll ideally have

- A solid employment history and a reliable approach to work.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Valuable attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- A mechanical, assembly, construction, manufacturing or trade-related background.
- The ability to follow instructions, work safely and contribute to a team.
- A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Experience in a specific trade is not essential for every opportunity — we're keen to speak with candidates whose transferable skills and work ethic are a good fit. What's in it for you?
