Imagine leading a busy, established waterfront restaurant while still enjoying your evenings at home!

With trading hours predominantly between 6:30 am and 4:30 pm, and just one evening service per week, Boutique offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Head Chef seeking a rewarding leadership position without the traditional late nights and split shifts.

Boutique Dining & Catering is looking for an experienced, passionate and driven Head Chef to take full ownership of our kitchen and lead our team into an exciting new chapter.

Located on the waterfront at Paradise Point, Boutique is a busy and established restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, functions and catering, with exciting plans for recent menus and continued growth.

THE ROLE

We need a Head Chef who has the experience, confidence and initiative to take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our kitchen, maintaining Boutique's standards without constant direction or oversight from management.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Full kitchen leadership, management and accountability.

- Developing and implementing exciting new menus, seasonal specials and fresh ideas.

- Managing food costs, stock control, ordering and supplier relationships.

- Staff rostering, recruitment, training and performance management.

- Maintaining consistency, presentation and quality across every service.

- Managing kitchen labour costs, efficiency and profitability.

- Ensuring food safety, cleanliness and compliance standards are consistently maintained.

- Implementing systems and improvements that allow the kitchen to operate independently and efficiently.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous Head Chef experience in a busy restaurant environment is essential.





We're looking for someone who:

- Is genuinely passionate about food, hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

- Has proven experience successfully managing a busy commercial kitchen.

- Is motivated, organised, hands-on and hungry to introduce positive change.

- Brings creativity, fresh ideas and the confidence to implement them.

- Understands kitchen financials, food costing and labour management.

- Can lead, motivate and hold their team accountable.

- Takes initiative, solves problems and doesn't need to be constantly managed.

- Takes pride in running a kitchen to consistently high standards.

This is not a position for someone looking to step into their first Head Chef role. We are offering a competitive salary for an experienced professional who can demonstrate the skills and leadership required from day one.
