Symbol - Positive Aged Care
Ellenbrook
A foundational leadership opportunity for someone who believes exceptional clinical care and world-class hospitality should go hand in hand.
About Symbol – Positive Aged Care
Symbol is a privately owned and operated entity of the Peiris Group, a Western Australian family office with a strong reputation across the not-for-profit and support services sectors and a growing portfolio of purpose-driven businesses.
Symbol was established in response to a clear opportunity in aged care: to restore warmth, dignity and genuine human connection to the delivery of support at home. While the sector has matured significantly in its regulatory and operational capability, we believe there remains enormous opportunity to combine clinical excellence with true hospitality. Care that feels personal, not procedural, with support shaped by people, not systems.
At Symbol, we redefine care through a philosophy of hospitality. We create genuine moments of joy for people who need support at home but have much to live for. We design experiences and services that build human connection, promote wellbeing and protect independence.
And that's where you come in.
About the role. About you.
Building something meaningful from the ground up requires courage, capability and conviction.
Our Head of Clinical Care will work alongside our Head of Hospitality and Service and executive leadership team to establish Symbol's clinical foundations at the point where regulation and humanity meet.
While our strategic, brand and corporate frameworks are in place, we are now building the leadership capability to deliver on our promise of Positive Aged Care.
This is a foundational leadership role for someone who believes in restoring the true spirit of care to people's homes through principles typically associated with luxury hospitality.
You will design, implement and lead Symbol's Clinical Governance Framework for Support at Home, ensuring that, from day one, our care is safe,
compliant and unmistakably human.
You will provide clinical leadership across the organisation and report on quality, safety and risk to the Approved Provider and Board.
You will bring experience in building or reshaping clinical services, with a strong understanding of both the regulatory landscape and the human responsibility that comes with it. You will recognise that aged care can be both clinically rigorous and deeply personal, and be motivated to prove it.
