About the Role The Head of Finance / CFO is responsible for the strategic financial leadership of Technology Development Providers Pty Ltd and the broader group of wagering clients. The role oversees all financial operations, reporting, governance, compliance, treasury, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis across the company's clients. The CFO works closely with the General Manager, directors, regulators, external accountants, auditors, banking partners, payment providers, and senior management to ensure the group operates with sound financial controls while supporting continued growth and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement the group's financial strategy
- Provide financial advice to the CEO and Board
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Lead financial planning for expansion, acquisitions and new wagering brands
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation
- Oversee all financial functions across Technology Development Providers and company clients
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management reports, quarterly financial reports, annual statutory accounts, and consolidated financial statements




- Manage all banking and treasury functions including cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships
- Oversee corporate income tax, GST, payroll tax, betting taxes, and tax planning
- Lead and mentor the finance team and build a high-performance finance function

- About you

- Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- Extensive senior financial leadership experience, preferably in wagering.
- Experience managing multi-entity corporate groups
- Advanced financial modelling
- Strategic planning capability
- Leadership and people management experience
- Strong commercial acumen
- Treasury management experience
- Taxation knowledge
