About 3P Studio

3P Studio is a creative production and post-production studio. Since 2017 we’ve been making content for some of Australia’s biggest brands, from live-action shoots through to edit, colour, VFX, audio and multi-format delivery. We’re rapid, we’re hands-on, and we’re investing heavily in AI and automation to change how creative work gets made.

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Production to lead our producer team and keep a busy, varied studio running to time, on budget and to a standard we’re proud of. This role is full-time and can be based in either our Brisbane or Sydney office.

The role

Reporting to our General Manager, you’ll own production across the studio, from quote to final delivery. You’ll lead and mentor our producers and coordinators, manage clients day to day, and make sure every job is briefed, resourced, budgeted and delivered properly.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading, mentoring and growing a team of producers and coordinators, including recruitment, rostering and performance
- Managing client relationships, expectations, timelines and client-attended sessions through to final creative sign-off
- Building quotes and budgets, tracking spend, managing change of scope and reporting on job profitability
- Overseeing pre-production for shoots: schedules, call sheets, crew, talent, locations, equipment and suppliers
- Managing clearances, talent releases, usage rights, music and stock licensing, and on-set safety
- Running studio and suite scheduling, artist utilisation and freelancer resourcing to maximise capacity
- Owning final QC and delivery,



including versioning, cutdowns, aspect ratios and retailer variations
- Managing broadcast compliance and delivery
- Handling POs, supplier invoices, job reconciliations and timely final invoicing
- Contributing to pitches, credentials, tenders and RFP responses
- Championing the adoption of our AI and automation tools across production and post

About you

- 7+ years’ experience producing within a studio or post-production environment
- Proven experience leading a team of producers and artists
- Detailed knowledge of the full post process: offline, colour, online, VFX, titling, captioning, mixing and mastering
- Experience producing shoot-based and live-action projects, including crew, talent, locations and on-set management
- Strong budgeting and commercial skills, with confidence keeping clients accountable to scope
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and calm under pressure, able to juggle multiple jobs and competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and a natural with clients
- Curious about AI and new ways of working
