About the role

You'll keep our jobs supplied by moving scaffolding between our yard and building sites. Most days you'll load the truck in the yard, deliver to site, and use the HIAB to unload safely and accurately. At the end of jobs you'll collect and return equipment. You'll work closely with our scaffolding crews and site supervisors, so good communication and a safety-first attitude are essential.

Key responsibilities

- Driving a Heavy Rigid truck to deliver and collect scaffolding across Hobart and surrounding areas
- Operating the truck-mounted HIAB crane to load and unload scaffolding, including on tight residential sites
- Restraining loads correctly and meeting chain-of-responsibility requirements
- Completing daily pre-start checks on the truck and crane and reporting any defects
- Sorting, stacking and organising scaffolding stock in the yard
- Following site inductions,



traffic management plans and Hobart Scaffolding safety procedures

About you

- A current HR (Heavy Rigid) licence
- Proven experience operating a HIAB
- A current White Card (general construction induction)
- A clean driving record and good knowledge of Hobart's roads and suburbs
- Physical fitness for regular loading and handling of scaffolding components
- Reliability, punctuality and a solid focus on safety
- Scaffolding industry experience is a bonus, but not essential
