About the role A housekeeper's purpose is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, common areas and facilities with an accommodation establishment.

Key responsibilities

- Thoroughly clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards

- Change bed linens and towels regularly

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures and surfaces

- Dust furniture and surfaces

- Vacuum carpets and mop floors

- Empty trash bins and replenish amenities like toiletries

- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional towels, linens or other supplies

- Address any guest concerns regarding cleanliness in a professional manner

- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and guest amenities

- Identify and report any maintenance issues within the guest rooms,



such as plumbing leaks, faulty appliances or damaged furniture

About you

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks

- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and procedures

- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules

- Valuable communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues

- Adhere to all safety protocols and cleaning procedures

- Properly dispose of hazardous materials

- Wear appropriate protective gear when necessary
