About the Role

Five Group is seeking an experienced Human Resource Adviser to join our People & Culture team in Balcatta, Perth.

The Human Resource Adviser will provide practical and commercially focused HR advice to managers and leaders across the Group and support a broad range of employee lifecycle activities.

This is a generalist HR position involving employee relations, performance management, remuneration, workforce matters, talent, compliance and people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers and senior leaders across the employee lifecycle.
- Advising on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, conflict resolution and redundancies.
- Supporting managers with the interpretation and application of employment legislation, the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, employment contracts, policies and procedures.
- Providing advice regarding remuneration,



workforce matters, talent management and other HR issues.
- Building effective relationships with managers, employees and key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Coaching and supporting managers in relation to people management and employee relations matters.
- Supporting the implementation of people and culture initiatives, including employee engagement, organisational capability, learning and development, culture and organisational change.
- Maintaining appropriate HR documentation and records and ensuring HR processes are applied consistently and appropriately.
- Contributing to broader People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Providing commercially appropriate, practical and solutions-focused HR advice aligned with business requirements and applicable legislation.
- Assist with WHS and injury Management matters including being a proactive member of the WHS committee, report writing, hazard or injury reporting, etc.

Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant generalist HR experience.
- Demonstrated experience providing HR advice to managers and leaders.
- Practical experience managing employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances,



investigations and conflict resolution.
- Sound knowledge and practical understanding of the Fair Work Act, Up-to-date Awards and Australian employment legislation.
- Solid stakeholder management, consulting and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative People & Culture team.

· Demonstrated experience with WHS and Injury Management will be highly regarded.
