Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Skills:
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero)
Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements
Assist with tax preparation and filing activities




Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Member of Institute of Qualified Accountants (IPA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
Current Tax Agent registration (or the ability to obtain a TAN) is preferred but not essential
Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Australian taxation laws
