A stable Australian owned International Freight Forwarder with 20+ years in the market is seeking a seasoned Import Operations / Customer Service Specialist to service Import LCL/FCL/Airfreight customers. Located in MEL HO @ Tullamarine.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Handle FCL / LCL / Airfreight import shipments from PO Placement and management through to delivery and billing.
- Manage customer accounts and build client relationships
- Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop current opportunities in different trade lanes, services.
- Explore additional customer needs/ opportunities and maintain SOPs at all times.
- Ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date.
- Assist with some export operations

ABOUT YOU:

- 2+ years Import local Freight Forwarder experience
- 1+ years experience with Cargowise1
- Strong attention to detail




- Understanding of export operations
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Adaptable
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Relationship building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
