About the role

Opportunity for development and growth working with a large Australia and New Zealand based organisation and a range of external legal providers. The successful candidate will have a broad-based generalist role working within a small in-house legal team.

Key responsibilities

- Lease review, negotiation and management
- Contract review, negotiating and drafting
- General commercial law support
- Litigation management
- Provision of legal advice on wide ranging issues
- External provider management
- Conduct legal research
- Support due diligence processes for acquisitions
- Manage calendaring and deadline tracking for lease-related matters
- Handle general office administration and support tasks

About you

- Australian Citizen or permitted to work in Australia
- Qualified lawyer with admission to practice in Australia with a current practising certificate
- Minimum 3 years+ PQE from a well-regarded law firm or in-house corporate environment
- Effective communicator and ability to handle a diverse mix of work in a quick-paced environment
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills




- Commercial mindset with ability to flexibly deliver pragmatic solutions
