Independent Service Technician / Subcontractor – Gold Coast

Roar Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, technically minded independent service technician or small service business to manage an established supermarket equipment service territory across Northern Rivers NSW, Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

This is an ideal opportunity for an established contractor looking to supplement their existing workload — not a full-time position.

Established Workload – Adaptable Scheduling

Our current service territory includes 68 supermarket locations, each requiring two scheduled preventative maintenance visits annually.

That's approximately 136 scheduled visits per year, with additional opportunities for breakdowns, corrective maintenance and workshop repairs.

Scheduled servicing can be planned in advance and grouped geographically to fit around your existing business commitments.

Immediate Paid Training – Full Contract January 2027

We are looking to appoint a contractor now, with paid technical training and development commencing immediately.

Full equipment training, practical servicing experience and familiarisation with our systems will be provided.

All approved training time, work performed and associated expenses will be remunerated.





The successful contractor will take responsibility for the full ongoing service contract from January 2027.

Who We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have experience in refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair or commercial equipment servicing.

You should have

- An established business or existing service workload
- Your own ABN, vehicle, basic tools and appropriate insurance
- Good technical and fault-finding abilities
- Availability to service the nominated territory
- A small workshop or suitable dedicated work area (preferred)

Previous experience with our equipment is not required — full training is provided.
