About Auto Tread

Auto Tread is a growing Australian tyre and wheel wholesaler supplying passenger, performance, 4WD, commercial and truck tyre products to customers across the automotive industry.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Internal Sales & Administration team member to join us.

This is not purely an administration position. The role combines internal sales, customer service, order processing, logistics coordination and general administration, with the opportunity for the right person to develop into a broader sales and account management role.

The Role

You will be one of the key points of contact between Auto Tread and our customers, assisting them with product enquiries, stock availability, orders and deliveries.

· Answer inbound customer calls and respond to enquiries professionally

· Process and place customer orders accurately and efficiently

· Assist customers with tyre sizes, patterns, applications, availability and product selection

· Check stock availability, pricing and customer account information

· Follow up quotations, enquiries and sales opportunities

· Make outbound sales calls to existing and potential customers

· Build and maintain strong relationships with tyre shops, workshops and other trade customers

· Coordinate freight, transport and customer deliveries

· Liaise with warehouse, sales and management teams

· Assist with customer account and general administrative tasks

· Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems

· Assist with stock enquiries and inventory-related tasks

· Support general warehouse operations when required





· Assist with basic marketing activities, including social media posts, product updates and promotional material

Tyre Industry Experience

Previous tyre and wheel industry experience is highly regarded and will be a significant advantage.

Ideally, you will have experience working with a tyre wholesaler or distributor, tyre retail store, automotive workshop, wheel and tyre business, automotive parts distributor, or a similar automotive aftermarket business.

Knowledge of the following would be particularly valuable:

· Passenger, SUV, 4WD and commercial tyre sizes

· Tyre patterns, brands and product categories

· Reading and understanding tyre size specifications

· Basic tyre and wheel fitment knowledge

· Load and speed ratings

· Replacement tyre applications

· Understanding the needs of tyre shops and automotive trade customers

· Wholesale tyre sales, pricing and stock enquiries

Skills & Experience

· Previous internal sales, customer service or administration experience

· Strong telephone communication and customer service skills

· Confidence speaking with customers and identifying sales opportunities

· Good computer and general IT skills

· Experience with Costar and/or MYOB will be highly regarded





· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

· Experience with Canva and/or Photoshop would be an advantage

· Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms

· Strong attention to detail and order accuracy

· Good organisational and time-management skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment

· A practical, flexible attitude and willingness to assist different areas of the business
