A highly regarded independent corporate advisory firm is adding an experienced Analyst to its Sydney team. The firm advises private business owners, listed companies, private equity sponsors, family offices and corporates across M&A;, capital raisings, strategic reviews and broader corporate finance matters.

Its work spans private treaty and public market transactions, including takeovers, schemes of arrangement, shareholder situations and strategic options analysis. The model is senior-led, technically rigorous and deliberately lean.

THE ROLE

You will support live M&A;, capital advisory and strategic mandates from analysis through execution. The work includes financial modelling, valuation, buyer and investor research, due diligence, process management and the preparation of information memoranda, management presentations, board papers and transaction documentation.

You will work closely with senior bankers in client meetings, transaction strategy and negotiations, while coordinating with clients, counterparties, lawyers, accountants, investors and other advisers. As your judgement develops, you will also review junior work and take greater ownership of execution.

THE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED





- Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate advisory or lead M&A; advisory.
- Demonstrated exposure to M&A;, capital raisings, public market transactions, strategic reviews or related corporate finance assignments.
- Robust financial modelling, valuation, analysis and presentation capability.
- Clear writing, commercial judgement, intellectual curiosity and the ability to perform in a demanding transaction environment.
- A Distinction or High Distinction average in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related discipline. CFA, CA or similar progression is useful but not essential.
