Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten – Thornhill Park

Iss seeking an experienced and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, providing maternity leave cover from December 2026 to July 2027. Working in our 3-year-old Kindergarten room, you’ll play an important role in creating a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy meaningful learning experiences.

We’re looking for a dedicated educator who is passionate about early childhood education, understands the importance of play-based learning and is committed to supporting every child’s development and school readiness.

About the Role

- Part-time position providing maternity leave cover from December 2026 to July 2027.
- Based in our 3-year-old Kindergarten room.
- Plan and deliver a high-quality Kindergarten program aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
- Create engaging learning experiences that support children's development, wellbeing and school readiness.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and fellow educators.
- Maintain flexibility to work across our operating hours of 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, with rotating shifts as required.

About You

- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Current VIT registration – provisional or full
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Kindergarten Teacher
- Experience working with children across the 3–5 year old age group




- Experience confidently managing and supporting challenging behaviours
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and contemporary early childhood practices
- Strong curriculum knowledge and compliance awareness
- A confident, reflective and relational teaching style
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
- A team-focused approach and willingness to collaborate with educators and Centre Leadership
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
