MODO is bringing its take on Detroit-style pizza to West End, Brisbane. After launching in Phuket, Thailand, in 2024, we’re bringing our passion for great food, quality ingredients and a fun, energetic dining experience back home.

We’re looking for motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Members to join our team. This is an opportunity to learn new skills, develop your cooking abilities and grow with a new restaurant from the ground up.

The Role

You’ll be involved in all aspects of our kitchen operations, from learning to make our signature pizza dough and preparing pizzas to cooking pasta, preparing sides, making sauces and getting everything ready for service.

We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, enjoy being part of a team and can stay organised and focused in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Learn to prepare and handle our pizza dough and make Detroit-style pizzas to our standards.
- Prepare and cook pasta dishes, sides and other menu items.
- Make sauces, dressings and other ingredients from scratch.
- Assist with daily food preparation, portioning and kitchen setup.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Clean equipment, utensils, benches and kitchen areas throughout service.




- Work closely with the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.

- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage, but the right attitude matters most.
