Cottage Grove Early Learning We are seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our long day care centre in South Brisbane. In this role, you will guide a team of educators in a nurturing room environment, planning and delivering high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard. You will build positive relationships with children and families, support the professional growth of fellow educators, and help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

responsibilities Leading and guiding the educator team within the assigned room to deliver a consistent, high-quality program Planning, implementing, and evaluating learning experiences that support children’s development and interests Documenting children’s progress and learning through observations, portfolios, and regular reflections Maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in line with health, safety, and regulatory requirements Communicating regularly with families about their child’s routines, wellbeing,



and development Supporting, mentoring, and supervising educators, trainees, and students on placement Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, child protection obligations, and centre policies Supporting children with diverse needs, backgrounds, and abilities through inclusive practice Working closely with the Centre Manager and Educational Leader to continuously improve program quality Qualification &

experience Minimum of 12 months’ relevant experience working as an educator in an early childhood education and care setting is required. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) is required for this role, along with a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
