We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a busy manufacturing operation in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on fitter with a solid background in packaging machinery and equipment maintenance. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently, minimising downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and reliably.

- Day shift Monday - Friday
- Weekend OT work occasionally

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
- Carry out repairs, servicing and equipment adjustments.




- Minimise machinery downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Identify potential equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills &

Experience Required

- Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter or equivalent mechanical trade qualification.
- Previous experience maintaining packaging machinery.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
