We are looking for a motivated MC Driver to join our team on a permanent line haul roster out of Adelaide.

- Fixed weekly roster

- 48 hours off every weekend

About the Role

- Monday and Tuesday nights: Adelaide to Balranald changeover, with delivery into DHL Edinburgh Park each day

- Wednesday night: depart Adelaide direct to Sydney, with a rest break in between and delivery into Sydney Friday morning

- Friday night: depart Sydney, arriving Adelaide early Saturday morning

- Then 48 hours off before you start again

- Express freight

Key Responsibilities

- Safely drive your allocated prime mover and trailer on the scheduled runs

- Deliver freight on time and in full, meeting express delivery windows

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly

- Load, restrain and secure freight correctly, in line with the Load Restraint Guide

- Manage fatigue, work diaries and driving hours under Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM) and Heavy Vehicle National Law

- Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately and on time

- Keep your truck clean, tidy and presentable

- Keep operations and customers updated on delays,



incidents or changes

- Follow all WHS and Chain of Responsibility obligations

To be successful in your application you will need:

- At least 3 years Heavy Vehicle experience

- Current MC licence

- AFM accreditation, or willingness to work under AFM

- Roadranger experience (essential)

- Experience correctly restraining loads

- Checkable references

- Great attitude and presentation

- Reliable and accountable, with strong time management

- Clear communicator with both customers and operations

- Comfortable with night driving and overnight work

- Ability to supply a current drivers licence history report (within 30 days)

- Agreement to carry out a National Police Criminal Check (within 30 days)

- Willingness to undergo a Fit to Drive medical (within 30 days)

- Safety boots and a smartphone

Preferred (but not essential)

- Previous Adelaide to Sydney interstate experience

- Experience with electronic work diaries

- Forklift licence

- Clean driving record
