Talent Quarter is partnering with a respected, values-driven community organisation to recruit an experienced Social Worker or Allied Health professional for its Medicare Mental Health Centre in Redcliffe. If you want to deliver person-led, trauma-informed mental health support within a genuinely collaborative team, this one is worth a conversation.

Why this opportunity?

The role

You'll work alongside people to understand their needs, strengths and recovery goals, providing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, recovery planning, practical psychosocial support, service navigation and therapeutic group programs. No two days are the same. Your work may include:

- Conducting trauma-informed biopsychosocial assessments

- Developing and reviewing person-led recovery and support plans
- Providing immediate support to people experiencing acute distress
- Building participants' confidence, independence and practical life skills
- Connecting people with clinical, housing, domestic and family violence, employment, financial, AOD and community services
- Supporting applications for the NDIS, Disability Support Pension, social housing or Victim Assist
- Co-facilitating therapeutic and psychosocial groups (e.g. DBT skills, art therapy, walking groups)
- Working alongside Peer Service Guides in a welcoming drop-in environment
- Providing outreach support across Redcliffe and the Southern Moreton Bay region
- Collaborating with families, carers, health professionals and community providers

The Centre operates extended hours, so some Saturday work is required.
