We are currently seeking experienced Midwives for travel contracts across rural and coastal NSW, with opportunities to work in a range of maternity services while making a real difference to women and families in regional communities.
Whether you're looking for your next short-term contract or wanting to explore somewhere new, this is a great opportunity to expand your experience while enjoying the perks of agency contracting.
Key duties include:
- Providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
- Supporting women throughout labour and birth
- Conducting maternal assessments and monitoring
- Providing newborn assessments and care
- Recognising and escalating clinical concerns when required
- Delivering safe, evidence-based and woman-centred care
- Supporting breastfeeding and early parenting education
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and care plans
- Working collaboratively with local maternity teams
- Supporting positive outcomes for women, newborns and families
Locations
Opportunities are available across rural and coastal NSW, offering the chance to experience different communities, explore new surroundings and enjoy a change of pace.

Salary & Package
- Up to $73 per hour

Essential Requirements To be considered, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Recent midwifery experience in a hospital maternity setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Current mandatory certifications relevant to the role
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively within different teams
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
