Our client manufactures high-quality precast concrete products and is looking for a reliable, hands-on MIG Welder to join their production team, welding steel reinforcement used in precast concrete pipe manufacturing.

What's Involved?

- MIG welding steel reinforcement for precast concrete pipes and products

- Reading and interpreting workshop and technical drawings

- Operating overhead cranes to move steel and equipment

- Assisting with general workshop duties as required

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

What You'll Bring

- Previous MIG welding experience
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Precast concrete or manufacturing experience, highly regarded

- Confidence operating overhead cranes
- A reliable, practical and safety-conscious attitude




- The ability to work well in a team environment
- A current LF forklift licence is an advantage, but not essential

Hours of Work

Early starts with regular overtime available.

- Monday to Thursday: 5:00am start, 10-hour shifts

- Friday: 4:00am start, 8-hour shift where possible

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, physical assessment, spirometry and hearing (audio) testing.

An online induction must also be completed before commencing work.
