Perth Yamaha and Perth Motorbikes are looking for another Motorcycle Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Kenwick. Across our group we represent some of the best names in motorcycles and powersports, including Yamaha, Indian Motorcycle, MV Agusta, Royal Enfield, Polaris and Segway, along with a large range of new and used motorcycles.

This isn't a quiet showroom where you'll be expected to spend your days trying to find someone to sell to.

We have strong showroom traffic, a large volume of online and telephone enquiries, multiple brands and a huge range of customers coming through our businesses. For the right salesperson, there is a genuine opportunity to sell a lot of motorcycles and earn very good money.

Who are we looking for?

Our first preference is an experienced motorcycle salesperson who already understands the industry, knows motorcycles and can hit the ground running. However, motorcycle dealership experience is not essential.

If you have a strong sales background, can genuinely sell, have excellent people skills and have a real depth of motorcycle knowledge, we would still like to hear from you. You might currently be selling cars, working in another sales environment or looking for your opportunity to move into the motorcycle industry.

What is essential is that you are genuinely into motorcycles and currently hold a motorcycle licence.

- A current motorcycle licence is mandatory. If you don't hold one, this position isn't suitable.
- An unrestricted R class motorcycle licence is preferred, although applicants holding a current R-E/LAMS licence will also be considered
- Motorcycle dealership sales experience will be highly regarded
- Strong general sales experience will also be considered
- Good motorcycle and product knowledge is important




- You need to be confident dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone and through online enquiries
- You must be comfortable following up leads and asking for the sale
- We want someone positive, reliable and motivated who enjoys working around motorcycles and motorcycle people

The opportunity

You'll be working in an environment built around motorcycles and powersports, with the opportunity to deal with everything from learner and commuter bikes through to premium motorcycles, cruisers, performance bikes, off-road motorcycles and powersports products. Our businesses include Perth Yamaha, Perth Motorbikes, Indian Motorcycle Perth and Polaris Kenwick, giving our team access to an extremely broad customer base and product range.

Our Kenwick operation continues to grow, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth.

Remuneration

We are flexible here because we don't believe every salesperson should be paid the same. The package will include a competitive base salary plus a strong, uncapped commission structure, with the overall package negotiated according to your experience and ability.

If you're already a successful motorcycle salesperson, we're prepared to put together a package that reflects that.

If you're newer to motorcycle sales but have proven sales ability, great motorcycle knowledge and the right attitude, we'll give you the opportunity to build a career in an industry you actually enjoy.
