About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist at The Grove Academy, you'll have the opportunity to work directly within our early learning centres, supporting children through play, everyday routines and meaningful interactions.

Rather than working solely within a traditional therapy room, you'll see communication in action and collaborate with the people who spend the most time with each child.

Your role will include

- Conducting speech and language assessments
- Providing evidence-based individual and small-group intervention
- Supporting early language and communication development
- Supporting speech sound development
- Supporting social communication and interaction
- Supporting emergent literacy and early learning




- Collaborating with educators to embed communication strategies throughout the child's day
- Coaching and empowering educators and families
- Providing career development and training to educators
- Working collaboratively with Centre Directors and our allied health team
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Monitoring progress and adapting intervention to meet individual needs

Skills & Experience We're looking for a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about early childhood and enjoys working collaboratively with children, families and educators.

You'll need

- Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent
- Membership of Speech Pathology Australia or eligibility for membership
- Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- A warm, positive and confident personality
- An interest in early childhood Speech Pathology
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A commitment to supporting children's access, participation and communication
