No Time for Grace is an Artisan Italian Bakery in South Yarra, known for handmade pastries and desserts made fresh on site.

We are looking for a Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team and help produce our range of pastries, cakes and desserts.

About the role

You will

- prepare doughs, batters, fillings and creams for pastries, cakes and desserts
- shape, bake and finish pastry products to our recipes and presentation standards
- check the quality of raw ingredients and weigh and measure them accurately
- monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
- decorate and glaze cakes and pastries
- keep equipment and work areas clean and follow food safety and hygiene procedures

About you

You will have one of the following:





- a relevant Certificate III or equivalent and at least 2 years of full-time experience as a Pastrycook, or
- a relevant Certificate IV or equivalent and at least 12 months of experience as a Pastrycook, or
- at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Pastrycook

You will also have

- a solid knowledge of Italian pastries and desserts
- positive knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
