About the role To operate and maintain Flexographic printing equipment at QLM, ensuring high-quality production of printed materials while maintaining efficient workflow and meeting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

- Operate Flexographic Presses to produce high-quality printed materials according to job bag specifications

- Monitor print jobs and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency

- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues promptly

- Monitor printed materials for defects and ensure they meet customer specifications

- Calibrate and maintain printing equipment to ensure consistent colour accuracy

- Perform routine maintenance on press and report any problems promptly

- Communicate effectively with team members and management

- Work collaboratively to resolve production problems and improve workflow

- Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures





- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment

About you

- Proven experience operating printing presses - specifically reel to reel

- Certificate III in Flexographic Printing

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control

- Accurate RF scanning and time clocking into MIS systems

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with various printing presses (desirable)

- Experience operating additional print format functions - turret/rewinding, laminating, die-cutting, fanfolding (desirable)

- Knowledge of print finishing techniques and materials (desirable)
