Procurement Specialist

Brisbane | Permanent Full-Time

$160k–$180k package + bonus + corporate benefits An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a leading resources organisation supporting multiple mining operations across Queensland and Recent South Wales.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities across Labour (Trades) and Services categories, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance and commercial value delivery.

Key responsibilities include

- Developing sourcing strategies through spend and market analysis
- Leading tendering, negotiations and contract implementation
- Managing supplier relationships and contract performance
- Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business
- Delivering cost savings and continuous improvement outcomes

To be successful, you will bring:
- Strong procurement and contract negotiation experience
- Mining, resources or heavy industry exposure highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical and commercial capability
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, with CIPS highly desirable

Brisbane based role, with Newcastle also considered for the right candidate.
