Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (General Medical & Cardiac)

Location: Royal Darwin Hospital, Top End, NT

Pay Rate: Up to $84 per hour, plus joining bonus

About the Role

Royal Darwin Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join their Medical/Surgical team on a contract basis. This role covers general medical and/or cardiac patients and is suited to nurses with solid clinical experience at N2.4 level or above.

Duties

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the general medical and cardiac wards
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical status
- Administer medications and treatments in line with hospital protocols
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver individualised patient care




- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with hospital policy

Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum N2.4 level general medical and/or cardiac experience
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Up to date immunisation records
- Availability to commit for 6+ weeks
