We're partnering with a specialist technology recruitment business that has grown consistently for more than a decade and built a respected name in its market. They're now looking for a State Manager / Associate Director to lead and grow their Melbourne office.
This is a player-manager role for a commercially sharp senior recruiter or manager who wants to build something, not just keep it ticking over.

The roleYou'll own the Melbourne market: winning new business, leading the team and shaping the office's growth plan with the directors. You'll be responsible for:





- Driving business development and bringing in recent clients and roles
- Leading, coaching and motivating the existing delivery team
- Helping attract and hire experienced recruiters as the Melbourne office grows
- Billing your own desk as a player-manager
- Building the Melbourne strategy and, over time, owning the P&L;
- Representing the business across the Melbourne technology community

About you

- A strong track record as a senior or principal consultant, team leader or manager in agency recruitment
- Technology recruitment experience in any specialism
- Experience leading, mentoring or developing recruiters
- Genuinely commercial: you enjoy BD and know how to win work
- Hungry, switched on and motivated by building a business, not just a desk
