The Wattle Hotel is the heart of Coomera and a real destination for great food in the region. Relaxed, comfortable and safe, The Wattle is the authentic food, drinks and recreation venue for the local community.

Applicants must have strong experience in busy hotel, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in managing the hotel and be effective in a busy team environment.

Key Requirements are:

- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, office employees etc.) and set clear objectives
- Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
- Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits




- Develop and implement an intuitive and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services
- Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in thefacilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offerinformation etc.)
- Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations etc.
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
- Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards

Permanent Full Time role with $80K - $85K (plus super)
