Asst.Restaurant Manager – Sydney's CBD popular and busy Restaurant is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its daily operations and deliver an outstanding experience for every customer.

This hands-on position is ideal for an organised hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, working on the floor and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

- Assist the Manager the venue’s daily front-of-house and service operations.
- Help assist recruit, train, roster and supervise restaurant staff.
- Lead the team during busy breakfast and lunch services.
- Ensure friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
- Monitor food, beverage and presentation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure the timely delivery of orders.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, deliveries and supplier relationships.
- Monitor wages, operating costs, sales and café profitability.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety and workplace-safety standards.
- Manage cash handling, point-of-sale procedures and daily reconciliations.




- Support local promotions, menu changes and initiatives to increase sales.

About you
- Diploma of Hospitality Management or a relevant qualification, or suitable industry experience.
- Previous experience managing a busy café, restaurant or similar hospitality venue.
- Robust leadership, communication and customer-service skills.
- Experience managing rosters, stock, suppliers and operating costs.
- Knowledge of food-safety, hygiene and workplace requirements.
- Confident using point-of-sale and rostering systems.
- Reliable, well presented and able to work under pressure.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays when required.
