Build your career in governance while working at the centre of organisational decision-making

About the Role:
We are looking for an organised and proactive Executive Governance Coordinator to support the governance activities that help Experteq operate effectively.

Reporting to the Governance Manager, you will work with our Chief Executive Officer, Executive Leadership Team and General Manager Risk & Compliance. You will coordinate important meetings, prepare meeting materials, maintain accurate records, track decisions and actions, and assist with reporting, audit and assurance activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career coordinator who wants to build their governance experience while gaining meaningful exposure to senior leadership. You do not need to be a governance specialist from day one. What matters most is that you are organised, reliable, comfortable working with detail and keen to learn.

About Us:

Experteq is a proudly Australian-owned IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) and Professional Services Consultancy with over 30 years of experience. We deliver innovative technology solutions to more than 50 clients in the banking, finance, corporate, and government sectors nationwide, including 30% of Australia's Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions.

With a rich history and extensive experience in one of Australia's most regulated industries, our high-performing teams excel in collaborating with clients who demand the highest levels of security, compliance, and regulatory standards. We offer deep technical expertise across a comprehensive range of services, including trusted private and public cloud solutions, end-user services, and business optimisation.

What You Will Do Here:

- Coordinate Key Governance Forums: Support the coordination of Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Team,

Board and other governance-related forums, helping prepare and distribute agendas, meeting packs and supporting materials accurately and on time.
- Capture Decisions and Drive Follow-Through: Record transparent meeting minutes, decisions and action items, then monitor progress and engage stakeholders to keep commitments moving.
- Maintain Trusted Governance Records: Manage action logs, decision records, policy registers and governance documentation with solid version control, accuracy and accessibility.
- Support Audit and Assurance Activities: Coordinate requests for information, evidence collection and stakeholder responses while maintaining audit action registers and tracking remediation activities.
- Enable Executive Reporting: Collate information for executive reports, dashboards, presentations and governance communications across organisational reporting cycles.
- Strengthen Governance Operations: Build productive relationships across the organisation and identify practical improvements to governance administration, reporting and coordination processes.

Who You Are:

- Early in Your Coordination Career: You ideally bring 1–3 years of experience in executive or team administration, project coordination, PMO support, business operations, governance support or a similar role. We also welcome applications from candidates with transferable experience who are ready to take the next step.
- Ready to Work With Senior Stakeholders: You are professional,

discreet and comfortable communicating with senior leaders. Previous exposure to executive teams, committees or formal meetings is helpful, but not essential.
- Organised and Detail-Focused: You can coordinate meetings, maintain accurate records and keep actions moving across different stakeholders and deadlines.
- A Confident Communicator: You can prepare clear agendas, minutes, correspondence and presentations, with support and guidance where required.
- Comfortable With Microsoft 365: You have practical experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Experience with SharePoint, Planner, Perdoo or similar platforms would be helpful.
- Proactive and Keen to Learn: You take ownership, ask thoughtful questions and follow through on commitments. Exposure to governance, audit, risk, compliance or assurance is welcome, but not required .

Why You Will Love Working Here:

Hybrid & Flexible: Work 2 days in the office and 3 from home, with flexible hours that fit your life.

Prime Location: Our Sydney CBD office is right near the QVB and close to everything you need.

Culture & Community: We take our work seriously, not ourselves. Expect real collaboration, learning and shared wins.

Wellbeing & Support: Access mental health resources, confidential EAP, study leave, and wellness perks that matter.
