Acclaimed Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator – Digital Printing to join an established and growing manufacturing client based in Somerton .
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with machinery or printing experience who enjoys a hands‑on production environment and takes pride in producing a quality finished product.
The Opportunity
Working as part of the production team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of digital printing equipment, ensuring products are produced accurately, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
What you'll be doing
- Operating digital printing machinery throughout the production process
- Setting up equipment and completing machine changeovers
- Starting, stopping, cleaning and performing routine machine maintenance
- Troubleshooting machinery and escalating issues when required
- Following computerised print commands and detailed production instructions
- Producing digital print products to customer specifications
- Monitoring print quality and identifying defects
- Identifying material faults and reporting issues appropriately
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe production area
- Working closely with the wider production team to achieve daily output targets
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands‑on and mechanically minded
- Highly focused on quality and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and following digital instructions
- Reliable, punctual and committed to their work
- Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
- A confident communicator with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable standing and working on their feet throughout the shift
Experience that will stand out
You’ll be highly regarded if you have experience in:
- Digital printing
- Industrial printing machinery
- Textile or fabric production
- Manufacturing or production environments
- Machine operation and changeovers
- Quality control and defect identification
Minimum 1 year's manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred.
