We are looking for experienced, hands-on Canning Line Setters to join our manufacturing team in Dingley Village.

Working with a diverse range of products and brands, you’ll help keep our canning and glass bottling lines running safely, efficiently and to high quality standards. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, leading a team and improving production performance, this is an opportunity to make a real contribution.

About the role

You’ll lead and support your shift team while taking responsibility for machinery setup, changeovers and smooth production operations. Your focus will be on reducing downtime, maintaining product quality and ensuring the line is ready for an on-time start.

Your key responsibilities

- Set up, adjust and operate canning or glass bottling equipment.

- Complete efficient, timely product and format changeovers.

- Troubleshoot machinery issues and carry out autonomous maintenance activities to minimise downtime.

- Complete clean-in-place (CIP)



procedures and internal machine cleaning in accordance with standard operating procedures.

- Ensure line clearance, equipment readiness and raw material availability before production starts.

- Conduct quality checks and maintain required production standards.

- Train and coach operators in equipment use, safe work practices and efficient operation.

- Maintain strong safety, hygiene and Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

- Identify and implement practical improvements to line performance.

What you’ll bring

- Experience as a Line Setter, Senior Operator or Team Leader, ideally within food or beverage manufacturing.

- Experience with canning or glass bottling lines.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.

- Demonstrated frontline leadership experience and the ability to support and develop a team.

- A sound understanding of 5S, GMP and HACCP requirements.

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Attention to detail, good organisational skills and effective time management.

- Availability for 7am to 4pm Mon-Fri
