JOB DESCRIPTION: SCOOPER

Reporting to: Augustus Gelatery Store Manager and/or Supervisors

Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide the customers with a wonderful experience when they visit the store.

Principal Duties

- Acknowledge customers upon arrival and uphold a positive and enthusiastic interaction and engagement.
- Scoop gelato and complete transactions.
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance. Ensuring that tables, cabinet glass, walkways and benches are frequently cleaned and presentable.
- Refill cupboard stock and gelato cabinet.
- Complete orders received by our Augustus Gelatery delivery partners. Including UberEats, Menulog and/or Doordash.




- Uphold an understanding of allergen protocols and the requisite product knowledge to pass onto the customer while referring to the allergen disclaimer.
- Refer customer complaints to supervisors and express apologies for their dissatisfaction.
- Complete additional cleaning tasks such as dusting, wiping tiles, washing dishes, changing bin lines, and fill and face water bottles in drink fridge.
- Closely follow open and close store procedures.

Pay: $13.90 – $34.76 per hour
