As a Casual Freight Coordinator , you'll play an important role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently through our Brisbane Airport operation. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities:

- Load and unload air freight and cargo
- Operate forklifts and other cargo handling equipment
- Complete freight documentation and system updates
- Coordinate safe and efficient freight movements
- Maintain warehouse presentation and housekeeping standards
- Follow all safety, aviation security, and compliance requirements

About You:

We're looking for reliable,



safety-focused people who enjoy practical work and can adapt to a dynamic operational environment.

This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy freight. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing the inherent requirements of the position.

Previous warehouse, freight, logistics or cargo experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Essential Skills & Licenses:

- A current Forklift License
- A current Australian Diver's License and reliable transport
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Good communication & teamwork skills
- Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude

Working Hours:

AIRWAY operates on a 24/7 rotating roster that may include early mornings, evening shifts, weekend work, and varying start and finish times. Availability to work additional shifts and at short notice is highly regarded.
